On the back of a powerful second half, Maccabi Tel Aviv beat Bnei Herzliya 90 – 86 and improved its Israeli Championship record to a league-best 11 – 2.

The “Yellows” scored 54 (!) after the break, led by Pierre Jackson (17 points, 5 assists), Karam Mashour (17 points) and Artsiom Parakhouski (14 points).

Jeff Adrien’s dominant double-double output of 27 points plus 10 rebounds wasn’t enough for Bnei Herzliya that dropped to a 3 – 10, one spot above the elimination zone.

Maccabi is facing Olympiacos on the road, Tuesday, for Round 18 of the EuroLeague regular season. The Reds had won the first leg’s game in Israel.
