To commemorate the 90th anniversary of Alexander Gomelsky’s birth, CSKA Moscow held a star-laden exhibition game for the legendary player and coach.

CSKA Moscow honored Alexander Gomelsky’s memory today in the Russian capital with a game that included many prominent personalities of European basketball.

The “Red Team” compiled by former Russian stars Andrei Kirilenko, Sergey Bazarevich, Evgeny Kisurin, Igor Kudelin and Alexey Savrasenko was victorious 56 – 50 over the “Blue Team” that included such players as Hedo Turkoglu, Teo Papaloukas, Ramunas Siskauskas, Antoine Rigaudeou, Raso Nesterovic and Fragiskos Alvertis.

The Red Team was coached by Stanislav Yeryomin and Ivan Edeshko while the Blue played under Dusan Ivkovic and Sasha Danilovic.
