Maccabi Tel Aviv registered its eleventh win of the season after defeating Maccabi Haifa on the road 85 – 75. The home side remains at the bottom of the standings in the Winners League.
The Yellows took an 11-point lead at the half (47 – 36) after receiving just 13 points in the second quarter.
Maccabi Haifa tried to fight back and they even took the lead (72 – 73) with five minutes left. Then, the Israeli powerhouse went into a 7-0 run that was decisive.
Jake Cohen led Maccabi Tel Aviv with 17 points and 15 rebounds while John Dibartolomeo and Norris Cole added 16 each.
