Not only did Glen Rice Jr. flirt with the triple-double in the Israeli State Cup Final but also scored the game-winner to lead Hapoel Holon to the title with a 86 – 84 victory over powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Michael Roll lost the game-winning attempt for Maccabi following the drive and the decisive basket by Rice with 1.6 seconds remaining.

Rice notched 28 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, earning MVP honors in the process. Thanks to his efforts, Hapoel Holon won the trophy for the second time in the history of the franchise.

Maccabi was shorthanded in their frontline since power forward Jonah Bolden and center Artsiom Parakhouski weren’t registered for the Final. Alex Tyus scored 17 points and 9 rebounds for the “Yellows”.
