Despite having a comfortable nine-point lead (41-32) in the first half, Haifa’s team responded with a 27-18 third period to go up ahead. In the final period, however, Tel Aviv finished it off, allowing Haifa’s squad to score just 12 points in ten minutes and improved its record to 17-6.
For the winners, DeShaun Thomas led the way with his 13 points, while Jake Cohen added 11 points and seven rebounds.
For the losing side, Angel Rodriguez scored 19 points. Maccabi Haifa has now fallen to a 6-17 record, 11th in the standings.
