Another defeat for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli League.

With the duo of Demetrius Treadwell and Jordan Loyd inflicting heavy damage, Hapoel Eilat beat Maccabi Tel Aviv 73 – 69 at home to improve its Israeli League record to 15 – 14 and climb at the sixth place of the table.

Treadwell posted a powerful double-double of 24 points/15 rebounds plus three blocks, while Loyd added 21 points and four steals. Isaac Rosefelt had 11 points and seven rebounds for Eilat that bounced back after trailing 27 – 35 at halftime with 47 points against their opponents’ 34 after the break.

This was the third loss in the last five games for the “Yellows” that are now tied with Maccabi Ashdod in the top standings with a 19 – 10 record. Jeremy Pargo didn’t to combine his return to the team with a win but managed seven points and a game-high seven assists in 22 minutes. Michael Roll scored 14 and Jake Cohen 13.
