Maccabi Tel Aviv faced some trouble against Ironi Nahariya but came out on top in the end.

Despite trailing for the majority of the game, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv came back and recorded a 94-87 home win against Ironi Nahariya on Day 30 of Israel League. After this win, the hosts temporarily took the top spot of the standings with a 20-10 record and having played an extra game, while Nahariya fell just a step above the relegation zone with 10-20.

It was a game full of ups and downs. Maccabi started off better and had a six-point advantage (25-19) after the first ten minutes but after that Ironi Nahariya controlled the game. They nullified the deficit and even created a double-digit advantage (63-53) late in the third quarter. From that moment on, the hosts took over the game again. The last thirteen minutes of the match belonged to Maccabi with a 41-24 partial score as they brought the game to a safe finish.

Norris Cole led the victors with 21 points in addition to DeAndre Kane’s 17 points. On the other side, Alex Young scored game-high 25 points while Yiftach Ziv added 22 points.
