Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade controlled almost the whole game except for the early fourth quarter and it was more than enough to record an 89-75 road win against Zlatibor Cajetina on Day 9 of Serbian SuperLeague.

Filip Covic and Alen Omic led the victors with 19 points each while Ognjen Dobric added 18 points. On the other side, Dragoslav Papic scored game-high 22 points and Svetozar Popovic flirted with a triple-double by recording 13 points, ten rebounds and nine assists.

The guests were in front by a double-digit margin (50-37) already at the halftime break mostly thanks to Covic’s 17 points. That advantage kept increasing after the pause to as much as 27 points margin (72-45) during the third quarter but the home team didn’t want to go down without a fight and managed to decrease the deficit in the fourth period to a tolerable margin.
