Neptunas has qualified for the LKL semifinals. After blowing out Pieno Zvaigzdes 64-101 away from home in Game 4, Neptunas won the series 1-3.
From the first twenty minutes of the contest, the visitors had the upper hand and even went up ahead by 20+ points (25-46). The game was eventually over from the first half. In the third and fourth periods, the visitors increased this lead to 30 points (39-69). Neptunas finished with five players in double-digits as Brandon Cardell Fields led the way with 19.
Earlier, Lietkabelis took care of business on the road against Siauliai in a close 84-85 victory and advanced to the second round of the playoffs (1-3).
The game was close throughout forty minutes and was decided in the final minute. With 30 seconds on the clock, Lietkabelis had a one-point lead (82-83), played great defense, made its free-throws (82-85) and eventually won the game. Darjuš Lavrinovič put up 16 points.
