In the ‘Super League’ playoffs in Israel, Hapoel Holon and Hapoel M. Jerusalem enjoyed home wins and currently lead their respective quarterfinal series 2-1.

Even if Hapoel Jerusalem had a double-digit lead at halftime (51-37), Gilboa Galil came back and was clutch down the stretch, and so forced overtime. In the extra period, the game was tied (105-105) with ten seconds left, as both teams exchanged buckets, but Tarence Kinsey’s free-throws won it for the hosts, 107-105. In the final possession of the game, Howell snatched the ball from Brown who made a crucial turnover.

Richard Howell scored 24 points for the winners, while for Gilboa, Elijah Johnson sparked the comeback and scored 26 points.

Earlier, Hapoel Holon got past Hapoel Eilat 87-81 and currently leads the series 2-1. Jordan Hamilton shined with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Joe Alexander added 21 and so the ‘duo’ of Holon’s team was the key to the victory.
