Team Overseas Elite became the TBT champions for the fourth time in a row staying undefeated with a 25-0 record and banking nine million dollars of prize money since joining the competition back in 2015. The team features some well-known names in European basketball such as D.J. Kennedy, Errick McCollum, Jeremy Pargo and DeAndre Kane.
They faced Eberlein Drive in the Final and won 70-58 after a crucial push in the last quarter. The Elites outscored their opponent 18-8 in the last ten minutes.
Justin Burell led the winning effort with 15 points while Errick McCollum was right behind with 14 points. The leader of the team from the very beginning and this year’s tournament MVP D.J. Kennedy posted 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
On the other side, Jerome Randle and Donald Sloan scored 15 points each.
