Alessandro Lever is showing his talents in his sophomore NCAA season.

Alessandro Lever fired up in Grand Canyon’s (4-3) last Wooden Legacy consolation game with 17 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes on Sunday. The Antelopes posted an 82-70 win over La Salle (0-7), while the Italian forward got up to 14 points and 4.3 rebounds per match. Irish Cian Sullivan scored two points and grabbed two rebounds for the losing side.

Matej Kavas notched a season-high for a second straight night with 22 points in Seattle’s (6-2) 70-50 victory over Longwood (5-3). The Slovenian guard also grabbed 13 boards and dished two assists. His teammate Mattia Da Campo didn’t score, but his opponent Sean Flood posted four points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Senior Spaniard center Ruben Guerrero had 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in 28 minutes for Samford (7-1) that beat South Carolina State (1-6) with 77-60. Stefan Lakic added one rebound and one assist in the Bulldogs’ win.

Brit Kavell Bigby-Williams scored 12 points, grabbed seven assists and posted a block, but wasn’t enough for #19 Louisiana State (5-2). The Tigers suffered a 90-77 defeat to Oklahoma State (4-2) in Florida.

Dane Asbjorn Midtgaard posted four points and two rebounds in Wichita State’s (3-3) 90-61 victory over Rice (3-4).
