The Shandong Golden Stars got a 126-109 home win over the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in the CBA Regular Season Round 31 meeting between the Chinese clubs. Donatas Motiejunas was certainly the man of match leading his team to the “W” with a career-high 40 points.

The 28-year-old Lithuanian forward/center’s second season in China was paused for about one month due to injury. He returned to action last week with 32 points and added a 40-point performance in his second game back. He made 18/25 from the field on Tuesday, also grabbed 15 rebounds and dished five assists in 36:54.

The Golden Stars grabbed their third straight victory and slipped in the CBA playoffs zone. They hope to maintain their winning ways down the stretch of the Regular Season and Motiejunas is proving able to help them achieve their 2018-19 goals.
