Chauncy Collins and Adonte Parker were pushing Nevezis with 51 points combined but they couldn’t hold on until the end as Zalgiris managed to get away with a narrow 82-79 home win in Lithuanian League.
For Zalgiris, Aaron White scored 16 points in addition to Arturas Milaknis and Paulius Jankunas’ 12 points each. Derrick Walton notched a double-double with ten points and rebounds.
On the other side, Collins banked 29 points (5-8 triples) while Parker followed with 22 (4-9 triples).
Nevezis improved to 4-15 while Zalgiris is still alone at the top with a 17-2 record.
