Tarik Black scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 22 minutes for a game-high 23 PIR as Maccabi Tel Aviv beat Ironi Nahariya 87 – 77 on the road in a postponed game for Round 11 of the Israeli Winner League.
Johnny O’ Bryant added 14 points in 13 minutes for a Maccabi squad that outplayed its opponents 25 – 17 in the third period after a balanced 40 – 41 first half to stay ahead. The “Yellows” improved to 13 – 4 with this win and are tied with Hapoel Holon at the top spot of the standings.
Nahariya, on the other hand, dropped to 12 – 5. Jordan Crawford scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds while Terry Allen added 14 points and eight boards.
