Maccabi Tel Aviv was off to a slow start but recovered and eventually grabbed a 97-87 home win over Maccabi Rishon in the Israeli League.
Scottie Wilbekin led the winning effort with 20 points and five assists while Michael Roll shot 4-6 from deep on his way to 19 points. Johnny O’Bryant added 14 and Tarik Black 13 points.
On the other side, Cameron Long scored 19 followed by Oz Blayzer’s 18 points in addition to Alex Hamilton’s 16 and Darryl Monroe’s 15 points.
Maccabi Tel Aviv stayed at the top of the standings with a 24-6 record while Maccabi Rishon now holds a 14-16 record.
