Maccabi Tel Aviv captured its eighth win in an equal number of games in the Israeli Winner League by routing Ironi Nahariya 89 – 62 on the road. The “Yellows” remain the only unbeaten team in the championship.
Five players scored in double figures for Maccabi that had a dominant 29 – 15 entrance and never looked back. Tyler Dorsey dropped 15 points, Scottie Wilbekin 12 while Quincy Acy had 11 points and seven rebounds. John DiBartolomeo added 10 points and Jake Cohen a double-double of 10 points plus 10 rebounds.
For Nahariya, that is now 3-6, former Maccabi big man Itay Segev had 17 points and nine rebounds and Dominic Waters scored 10.
