Lietkabelis edged Zalgiris Kaunas with an 83-72 victory at home, putting an end to the latter’s perfect streak in the Lithuanian League.

The hosts had three-players scoring in 20 points or more; Tomas Dimsa and Paulius Valinska led the way with 21 points, while Zeljko Sakic posted 20 points.

On the other end of the court, Thomas Walkup and Zach LeDay tried to help the Kaunas side with 12 points each.

Lietkabelis was in charge throughout the game, leading 41-33 at halftime and enjoyed an 18-11 run in the third period. Zalgiris reacted in the fourth period, though it wasn’t possible to turn things around in the end.
