Monaco and ASVEL got their respective wins in the French League

AS Monaco Basket couldn’t count on Mike James who got injured in the Euroleague clash against Fenerbahce but that didn’t stop coach Zvezdan Mitrovic’s squad from securing a 90-83 home win against Chalons-Reims.

Rob Gray stepped up with 18 points followed by Paris Lee and Alpha Diallo who added 14 each. Diallo also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists, teaching a total of 23 PIR.

On the opposing side, Scottie Reynolds was outstanding with 30 points on 7-10 from the three-point territory while Gani Lawal scored 20.

Monaco improved to a 7-2 record while Chalons-Reims stayed near the bottom with 3-7.

Meanwhile, ASVEL got an 88-67 road win against For-sur-Mer and improved to a 7-3 record while leaving the opposition at 4-6.

William Howard scored 14 for the winning team while Chris Jones had 13 and Paul Lacombe 11 points. Antoine Diot scored 11 as well.

For the losing side, Lasan Kromah banked in 24 points while Jamar Diggs scored 12 and Bodian Massa ten points.
