Projected No. 1 NBA draft pick Victor Wembanyama scored 19 points, grabbed six rebounds made two steals and two blocks as Boulogne – Levallois beat Le Portel 92 – 82 to capture its second win in the 2022-23 French Jeep Elite League.
Wembanyama produced 14 of his points by halftime to push Boulogne towards getting a 50 – 35 lead at the break. Ibrahima Fall Faye contributed 26 points plus six rebounds, Armel Traore had 16 points and six boards of his own while Tremont Walters posted 12 points plus eight assists for the winning side.
Ronald Curry (19 points) and Terry Allen (16 points) stood out from Le Portel.
