Another brilliant performance from Victor Wembanyama for a seventh straight victory of Metropolitans 92

The French prodigy Victor Wembanyama led Metropolitans to a seventh victory in a row with 30 points in a 92-85 win against Nanterre 92.

Future No 1. NBA draft pick shined against his boyhood club with a 9/14 shooting and 9/11 from the free throw line. He also grabbed nine rebounds.

Born in Le Chesnay, Wembanyama joined Nanterre as a 10-year-old boy. He made his professional debut with them, and spent two years before joining Asvel in the summer of 2021, and eventually singing with Metropolitans to play for Vincent Collet.

With another amazing game, Wembanyama took Metropolitans to the top of the standings. Only Cholet has the same 7-1 score while Monaco suffered a second defeat today, Asvel their fourth yesterday.

This time the French phenomenon was followed by Tremont Waters with 21 points and Devante Jones with 12.

Justin Bibbins stood out for the losing side with 21 points, Keith Hornsby added 18, while Jaleel O’Brien and Benjamin Sene added 13 points each.

Nanterre is at the middle of the standings, sitting in the 10th position with a 4-5 score.
