After moving between the NBA and the G-League for the past five years, Frank Mason III moves to Europe to sign a contract until the end of the season with SLUC Nancy Basket.

The Kansas Jayhawks’ playmaker, drafted with the #34 pick by the Sacramento Kings in 2017, recently played with the Wisconsin Herd. With this G-League team, he was named MVP of the competition in 2020.

Nancy is currently in the relegation fight at 15th place in the LNB standings. Frank Mason, who has averaged 6.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in his NBA career, will try to help them.

“We are very happy to welcome Franke. His recruitment is part of the general objective of densifying our defense and our attacking game. He’s an impact player just like Ike Nwamu. Its quality of percussion, speed and shooting will allow us to speed up our game and set up our defense. Welcome to him”, Nancy’s head coach Sylvain Lautie commented on him.
