AS Monaco defeated Roanne 85 – 74 on the road to improve its French League record to 19-4 and remain the undisputed leader in the standings.

Five players scored in double figures for Monaco that was, again, minus Mike James. Jaron Blassongame led the way with 18 points, Donta Hall posted 13 points plus seven rebounds and Alpha Diallo contributed 12 points along with seven boards of his own. Chima Moneke had 11 points while Jordan Loyd provided 11 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

Ronald March finished with a game-high 26 points and five rebounds for Roanne. Silvio De Sousa tallied 12 points plus nine rebounds for the hosts, now 12-11.

Nanterre had a French League record crowd of 16,319 fans attending the game vs. ASVEL Villeurbanne but the latter apparently thrived on that. Behind 17 points and six rebounds by Amine Noua, the reigning champions prevailed 82 – 61 and climbed at 13-9.

Bastian Pinault stood out from Nanterre (8-14 after this result) with 14 points.
