Nando De Colo scored 33 points on 7-9 triples to lead ASVEL Villeurbanne to a 80 – 79 away victory over Le Mans in a game for Round 28 of the French League regular season. Youssoupha Fall made the game-winning layup in the very last second after a tough pass by Dee Bost and a team comeback from down nine points down the stretch.

Le Mans was up 78 – 69 with 3:35 to play when Fall hit 4-6 free throws to cut the deficit to 78 – 73. De Colo drained the jumper and then the 3-pointer to bring ASVEL at 79 – 78 with 32 seconds remaining.

After Valentin Chery went 0-2 from the line for Le Mans, the ball went to Bost who beat the double-team pressure and found Fall inside the paint for the basket that decided the outcome.

Fall finished with eight points plus six rebounds while Jonah Matthews scored 10 for ASVEL, now 15-9 and fifth in the standings. Matt Morgan’s 31 points proved to be not enough for Le Mans that fell 7th (14-12).

In the meantime, standings leader AS Monaco defeated Roanne Gravelines Dunkerque 73 – 67 on the road behind the duo of Donatas Motiejunas (18 points, eight rebounds) and Alpha Diallo (18 points, seven rebounds).
