Metropolitans 92 lost in the last seconds to Cholet Basket 69-68 in a postponed match of Round 30 of French Betclic Elite, despite another big performance from Victor Wembanyama.

Cholet won in the last second thanks to Perry Ellis’ free throw with three seconds to go. Wembanyama tried to win the game with a half-court shot but wasn’t successful.

The French wunderkind, projected to be the No. 1 pick at the upcoming NBA draft, finished the game with 17 points and 15 rebounds for a PIR of 24, but it wasn’t enough.

DeVante Jones added 15 points, and Bilal Coulibaly 14 for Vincent Collet’s team.

Boris Dallo had a brilliant game with 27 points and nine rebounds for a PIR of 32 and led the winning side. T.J. Campbell added 14 and Dominic Artis 10 points for Cholet.

Monaco conceded 101 points and lost without Loyd and James
