Matthew Strazel scored 17 points and sent four assists to his teammates to push AS Monaco past Blois 99 – 81. The Monegasque side was superior from start to finish to reach an 11-1 record in the French League while their opponents are now 5-7.

Donta Hall had 16 points, Yakuba Ouattara dropped 13 points and John Brown III notched 11 points for Monaco that shot 13-21 3-pointers and had 29 assists. The game provided coach Sasa Obradovic a solid opportunity to distribute playing time among his guys following a tough double-game week in EuroLeague and two losses to Anadolu Efes and Real Madrid.

Tobin Carberry led Blois scorers with 16 points. Milan Barbitch had 13 points and five assists.

Defense was the word for ASVEL Villeurbanne on the road against Cholet. Edwin Jackson and Mike Scott scored 18 points apiece as Gianmarco Pozzecco’s players took a 73 – 68 victory and improved to 8 – 4 to catch up with JL Bourg en Bresse in the third place of the standings.
