Strasbourg pulled off a surprise by defeating Paris 87–82 in Game 2 of the LNB Quarterfinals.
This result ties the series at 1–1, setting up a decisive Game 3 to determine who advances to the Semifinals.
The decision came in the final moments, and despite Paris having a seven-point lead (70–63) at the start of the last quarter, Strasbourg managed to come back and edge out the EuroLeague team in a thriller.
Marcus Keene scored 25 points with seven assists, while Mike Davis added 23. Gabe Brown finished the match with 14 points. For Paris, Jarod Rhoden had 15 points, Nadir Hifi scored 12, Justin Robinson 11, and Allan Dokossi contributed 10 with 13 rebounds.
Cholet forces Game 3 against ASVEL
We will also see a third game in the series between Cholet and ASVEL, as Cholet won at home 77–65 to tie the series at 1–1.
Gerald Ayayi scored 16 points, with Mohamed Diarra adding 10. On the other side, Shaquille Harrison led with 12 points, while Mbaye Ndiaye scored 10.
This duel was also decided in the fourth quarter, with the home team entering it with a four-point lead (53–49). However, at the beginning of the fourth quarter, Cholet went on an 8–0 run, pulled away, and eventually secured the victory.
The third game of the series is scheduled for Saturday at 21:00 CET.
