Nanterre secured a victory in Game 2 of the French Pro A league Semifinals by defeating AS Monaco on the road with a score of 98-89.
With this win, Nanterre tied the series at 1-1, which is played to three wins.
Len Schoormann led Nanterre to victory with 20 points, Roko Prkacin added 15, and Mitchell Saxen contributed 10 points along with 15 rebounds.
On the other side, Monaco once again played with only eight senior players, still unable to count on Mike James, while Elie Okobo led the team with 23 points and eight assists. Jaron Blossomgame added 18 points, and Mathew Strazel scored 13.
Monaco was heading toward a secure victory with a double-digit lead but completely collapsed in the final stretch. Nanterre went on a 36-18 run in the last quarter and ultimately overturned the favored hosts.
The third game of the series is scheduled for Saturday at 17:00 CEST, with Nanterre as the host.
