Paris Basketball responded in emphatic fashion after dropping the opening game of the French League semifinals and avoided heading to Cholet under heavy pressure.
The regular-season leaders cruised past Cholet 100-77 in Game 2, bouncing back from a narrow 90-89 defeat in the series opener and regaining momentum before the next two games in Cholet.
Nadir Hifi led the winners with 19 points, while Daulton Hommes and Jared Rhoden added 15 points each. Lamar Stevens contributed 13 points as Paris rediscovered its shooting touch.
For Cholet, Gerald Ayayi scored 17 points, while Chibuzo Agbo added 11 and Nathan De Sousa finished with 10.
After trailing for much of the first half, Paris took control following the break and never looked back, erupting offensively in the second half while knocking down 16 three-pointers.
Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, with the series now shifting to Cholet for what could prove to be the decisive stretch of the semifinal.
