By Javier Molero/ jmolero@eurohoops.net

Monaco responds to the defeat in the last game with a great road win against Nanterre (61-83) to put the semi-finals 2-1 up.

Elie Okobo (23 points) and Matthew Strazel (21 points) were Monaco’s top scorers. Mike James, Nikola Mirotic, and Daniel Theis did not play.

Monaco needed to respond after their home defeat in the second game. And they did. After a spectacular second quarter (8-23), the EuroLeague team went into halftime with a comfortable lead (28-43).

Monaco continued to punish from beyond the arc on an outstanding night from three-point range. Nanterre had no answer and lost the third semifinal game at home (61-83).

They will have the opportunity to tie the series and force a fifth game next Monday, June 8th at 9:00 PM CET. Monaco will have the opportunity to qualify for the final.
