Monaco secured a place in the French Championship finals by defeating Nanterre 89-78 on the road in Game 4.
Although Nanterre broke Monaco’s home advantage in Game 2, Monaco recorded two away victories in 48 hours and will play in the domestic championship finals.
Elie Okobo was outstanding with 24 points, while Mathew Strazel scored 21. Juhann Begarin and Jaron Blossomgame each contributed 12 points.
For the home team, Donta Scott scored 22 points, Jeremy Senglin added 11, and Benjamin Sene chipped in with ten points and eight assists.
Nanterre started the game excellently, hitting six three-pointers in the first quarter and gaining a noticeable lead (24-17). However, the second quarter was decisive, with Monaco winning it 32-13, pulling away, and ultimately, despite some uncertainty in the middle of the fourth quarter, securing the victory.
Monaco is the first finalist, and the second may be determined on Tuesday if Paris defeats Cholet away. Currently, Paris leads the series 2-1.
