Paris Basketball punched its ticket to the Betclic ÉLITE Finals after edging Cholet 94-91 on the road in Game 4 of the semifinal series.
The defending French champions were pushed to the limit by Cholet, needing a late basket from Nadir Hifi to secure the victory and close out the series. Paris appeared in control after building a nine-point lead in the fourth quarter, but the hosts responded with a 10-0 run to briefly move in front before Hifi took over in the closing moments.
The French guard finished with a game-high 26 points, while Daulton Hommes added 21 points and six three-pointers. Sebastian Herrera and Tyson Ward chipped in with 11 points apiece.
For Cholet, Gerald Ayayi recorded 24 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, while Chris-Ebou Agbo and Mohamed Diawara each scored 11 points.
Paris will now face Monaco in the French League Finals.
