Paris Basketball have been crowned French Super Cup champions after dominating Roanne in the final and securing the first trophy of the season with a commanding 81–59 victory.
The game was a tale of two halves. Roanne held the upper hand in a low-scoring opening period, heading into halftime with a narrow 22–21 lead after a defensive battle in which neither side managed to find much offensive rhythm.
Everything changed after the break. Paris Basketball came out with a completely different intensity and produced a decisive 36-19 third quarter, turning the game around and taking control of the contest. From there, the Parisian side managed their advantage comfortably, keeping Roanne at arm’s length all the way to the final buzzer.
Tyson Etienne led all scorers with 21 points, playing a key role in Paris Basketball’s second-half surge. He was followed by teammates Nadir Hifi and Jared Rhoden, who each contributed 15 points to the victory.
