Paris and LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne stayed unbeaten in France’s Betclic Elite on Sunday, pulling off two tough second-half comebacks in Round 2.
Paris looked buried at the Antares, falling behind by 14 points against Le Mans in the third quarter. Then Nadir Hifi took over. The 24-year-old guard exploded for 33 points, capping off his masterclass by draining a deep, contested three-pointer with less than a second on the clock to steal a 103–101 victory.
Refusing to let the team based in the French capital lose, Hifi’s heroics ruined a great night for Carlos Stewart, who scored 29 points for MSB. Head coach Max Lefevre was missing Mouhamed Faye, Amath M’Baye, Jeremy Morgan, and T.J. Warren Jr., but still pushed their record to 2–0 while dropping the hosts to 1–1.

Earlier at the Stade des Flandres, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne had to fight out of their own early hole. Tony Parker’s squad trailed BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque by 11 points in the first quarter before grinding out a 70–65 win. Tremont Waters led the way with 14 points. They played without Jae Crowder, Mathis Dossou-Yovo, Patty Mills, and TyTy Washington Jr.
The win gives the team a flawless 2–0 start at home, offering some relief after a rocky 1–2 opening to their EuroLeague run.
