French basketball magazine “Maxi Basket” presents a full list of the contracts in the French league with the two EuroLeague clubs dominating the Top20 salaries and only one player, Nadir Hifi, getting paid a one-million euros annual net salary.
The number pales in comparison with the Top EuroLeague contract in general and it’s also a proof for Hifi’s value.
According to the report, out of the top 23 salaries, 2 belong to the players of Paris Basketball and LDLC ASVEL, which are the two EuroLeague teams of the country,
Chalon’s Jeremiah Hill on the 17th spot is the only expeption.
It has to be noted that those are not official numbers, but a report by Maxi Basket and a margin of error around 10% is estimated.
