Strasbourg’s defeat pushed them back to second place.

We once again have change at the top of the standings in Pro A after the combination of Monaco’s road victory over Orthez and Strasbourg getting beaten home against by Nanterre.

The Leaders Cup holders played a highly consistent game against Orthez (17-10), especially after the mid of the second period, controlling the rebounds and in the end winning rather easily. Now Monaco (20-7) enjoys the solitude of first place in the standings, since Strasbourg (19-7) suffered a defeat in the hands of Nanterre (17-10) with some strong late action by Mykal Riley and Hugo Invernizzi doing the trick for coach Donnadieu’s team.

When it comes to the battle for the playoffs, Limoges (16-11)  took an important win against Antibes (12-5) as Chalon Reims (14-13) also did versus Villeurbanne (17-10).
