The 32th Day of the French championship was concluded tonight with Strasbourg locking the second place in the standings of the regular season. Meanwhile, Monaco had already taken care off clinching the top spot and the home court advantage for its entire playoffs run.

After beating Chalons Reims (14-18) at home in the previous week, Strasbourg (23-9) now faced some serious trouble on the road against Paris Levallois (12-20) and was quite close to a surprising defeat. But in the end the Eurocup Finalists managed to prevail thanks to key points by Matt Howard, Louis Campbell and the fantastic Rodrigue Beaubois (31 points).

With Jamal Shuler (24 points) in yet another great performance, Monaco (25-7) proved once again that right now they are quite possibly the best team in Pro A regular season, defeating Gravelines Dunkerque (20-12) which is now stuck in a three-way tie in the fifth place along with Villeurbanne (20-12) and Nanterre (20-12) that also continued with victories.
