An incredible buzzer beater by Jeremy Nzeulie gave Chalon a 71 – 70 road victory over Strasbourg and a 2 – 1 advantage in the French League Finals.

With 1:23 minutes remaining, Elan Chalon had recovered from a 10-point deficit (68 – 58) and taken a lead 68 – 69. Then Paul Lacombe dropped 2/2 from the line to give his team the lead. Only seconds were remaining for the game to end.

After Frank Ntilikina pulled off one the many exceptional defenses he signed in the fourth quarter and were basically the main reason behind for the aforementioned double-digit lead by Strasbourg, he also had the chance to become the game’s ultimate hero.

His wide-open jumper went off target. And then… Jeremy Nzeulie happened.

Thanks to that basket, Nzeulie finished the game with 11 points. James Roberson paced Chalon with 20.

For Strasbourg, AJ Slaughter scored 17 points and five rebounds. Ntilikina had 8 on 3/10 shots.
