No team has been able to defeat Monaco in the last three editions of the “Leaders Cup”. This time, the champions got the win 83 – 78 over Le Mans.

Gerald Robinson (18 points) and Elmedin Kikanovic (17 points) paced Monaco. Mykal Ryley led all scorers with 20 points while Romeo Travis added 14 and 8 rebounds but they couldn’t avoid the defeat.

Le Mans was leading 13 – 16 (7′) in the first quarter but the defending champs ended the first quarter with a 14 – 0 run that let them in charge. Despite Le Mans reduced the deficit to single-digits, Monaco was still leading at the end of the third (63 – 55).

Five players scored in double-figures for the winners and Monaco completed a great performance in the last quarter sealing the victory and the trophy. Le Mans’ late 0-7 run wasn’t enough.
