ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne stayed focused and calm in order to resist the comeback effort from BCM Gravelines Dunkerque, in the end recording a 78-74 victory on Day 31 of PRO A League.

Despite trailing in double-digits after thirty minutes of play (63-50), Gravelines opened the last period extremely well and with a 17-4 run tied the game at 67 with three minutes left. However, ASVEL players didn’t let it upset them as they scored seven straight points from that moment without an answer from the opponent which were crucial in securing the game for the hosts.

David Lighty led the winning side with 16 points while Amine Noua added 13 points. On the other side, Chris Johnson scored a game-high 21 points while Quentin Serron helped with 16 points.
