ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne made a big push in the third period and won against AS Monaco Basket 108-80 on Day 33 of PRO A League.
The crucial factor in this game without a doubt was the three-point shooting as the hosts were red-hot from behind the arc scoring 16 shots out of 29 attempts in comparison to opponents five made triples. In the third period which decided the game as ASVEL won it 36-13, they scored six times from the three-point territory.
Charles Kahudi led the winning side with 24 points while shooting without a miss in the three-point territory (5/5). Justin Harper and John Roberson helped with 17 points each. On the other side, Christopher Evans scored 18 in addition to Amara Sy’s 16 points.
On Friday, despite some trouble, Limoges broke the resistance of Antibes and recorded the 19th win in PRO A this season and securing a spot in the playoffs.
