Chris Lofton scored 34 points helping Le Mans recover from the first quarter deficit and record an 84-72 home win against AS Monaco Basket in Game 3 of ProA League Finals. Le Mans now leads the best-of-five series 2-1.

Lofton shot 6/8 for two and 5/8 from behind the arc while getting some help from Youssoupha Fall with 14 and Romeo Travis with 12 points. For Monaco, Elmedin Kikanovic scored 24 in addition to Christopher Evans’ 13 points.

Despite Monaco starting the game better and leading by as much as 13 points (27-14) during the second quarter, Le Mans pulled off a fast comeback as they took over the lead already at halftime (39-35).

It was a fairly balanced second half as the score was tied at 59 in the early fourth quarter but the hosts had a bit of momentum on their side and with a 12-5 run managed to create some space (71-64) which was enough to secure the win in the end.

Game 4 is scheduled for Wednesday 20th of June and Le Mans will have the home-court advantage once again.
