After a slow start, Strasbourg took over the control and didn’t let go until the end for a 90-81 home win against Chalon/Saone on Day 13 of French League.
Jarell Eddie led the way for Strasbourg with 22 points while Ali Traore added 20. On the other side, Juan Palacios scored 19 in addition to Ousmane Camara’s 17 points and nine rebounds.
Chalon/Saone held a small 24-22 lead after ten minutes but Strasbourg was the one going on the halftime rest with a 49-43 advantage. They kept going after the break increasing the distance to double-digits (67-55) and keeping the control until the end for a win. The game started with a minute of silence for the recent terrorist attack in the city of Strasbourg.
Strasbourg improved to 9-4 and stayed behind Lyon-Villeurbanne which is at the top with an 11-2 record. Chalon/Saone now holds a 6-7 record while Antibes stayed at the bottom with 2-11.
