Strasbourg announced that center Stephane Lasme failed his medical examinations and thus won’t continue with the team.
Lasme signed with Strasbourg after being waived by Panathinaikos in late January. The former EuroLeague DPOY underwent the routine medical exams but the doctors didn’t give him a certificate in order to continue with the French team.
Now Lasme is once again a free agent for the second time in 2019. The veteran Gabonese center began the season with former team Panathinaikos with which he averaged 5.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game in EuroLeague.
