Monaco made a big comeback but ASVEL managed to get away with a narrow win and stay at the top of the French League.

ASVEL gambled away a 19-point lead (42-23) but still managed to grab a narrow 92-91 home win over AS Monaco on Day 29 of French League.

David Lighty led the victors with 15 points while Charles Kahudi scored 14 and DeMarcus Nelson 13 points. For Monaco, Dee Bost scored 17 and Elmedin Kikanovic 16 points.

ASVEL improved to 22-7 and stayed at the top of the standings in front of Nanterre (20-9) followed by Monaco and Pau-Lacq-Orthez with 19-10 records.
