ASVEL put on a dominant first half (50-30) and kept the distance for an 85-61 home win over Strasbourg on Day 31 of French League.
Theo Maledon led the winning side with 18 points (4-5 triples) while A.J. Slaughter added 14 points (4-5 triples). For Strasbourg, Mardy Collins nailed 20 points in addition to Youssoupha Fall’s 10 points and nine rebounds.
ASVEL stayed at the top of the standings with a 24-7 record followed by Nanterre (22-9), Monaco (21-10) and Dijon (20-11). Strasbourg now holds an 18-13 record and is at the 7th spot.
