Dee Bost scored a game-high 23 points as Monaco crushed ASVEL Villeurbanne 97 – 62 at home in Game 3 of the French Jeep Elite League Finals to get its first win in the series.
Monaco overpowered ASVEL 30 – 13 in the second quarter to reach halftime up 52 – 30. The visiting squad recovered offensively but the Monegasque side retained the same intensity in its game to preserve its large advantage.
Miro Bilan (14 points, six rebounds, five assists) and Amine Noua (12 points, seven rebounds) were the top contributors of ASVEL. Elmedin Kikanovic had 13 points, Gerald Robinson 12 and Paul Lacombe 13 points and six rebounds for Monaco.
Game 5 takes place at Monaco Saturday (22/6).
