After beating Khimki Moscow for EuroLeague, ASVEL also returned to victories in the French League.

ASVEL Villeurbanne bounced back to wins in the French Jeep Elite League by beating Gravelines Dunkerque 103 – 86 at home. The reigning champions improved to 14 – 1 and remained the sole holder of the top of the standings.

Ismael Bako was named MVP of the game after posting a 16 points, eight rebounds and a team-high 22 PIR. Livio Jean-Charles and Adreian Payne added 18 points and six rebounds apiece.

Benjamin Sene had 27 points and Trey Lewis 21 for Dunkerque that dropped to 5-12.

AS Monaco remains in pursuit of ASVEL at 14 – 2 thanks to its 84 – 71 road win over Cholet. Norris Cole scored 17 points and dished out six assists for the winning squad. ASVEL and Monaco will face each other in the next round of the league on January 5.
