Jan Vesely returned from injury with an all-around performance, Melih Mahmutoglu had a great shooting night and Fenerbahce got te home win over ITU in the Turkish League

After almost two months, Jan Vesely returned to the floor for Fenerbahce BEKO which logged a 94-83 home win over Sigortam.net ITU in the Turkish League.

Melih Mahmutoglu led the way with 23 points on 5-8 from deep in addition to James Nunnally and Joffrey Lauvergne’s 16 each. The latter also grabbed nine rebounds while Vesely posted eight points, seven assists and six boards in 21 minutes of playtime.

For ITU, Matthew Mobley banked 25 points followed by Archie Goodwin with 21 and Mehmet Yagmur with 13 points.

Fenerbahce was off to a strong start with an efficient first quarter leading 35-19 and keeping the distance by halftime (52-39). They didn’t allow any loss of focus after the break as ITU couldn’t decrease the gap below nine points (57-48) and Fener sealed the deal leading by as much as 21 points in the fourth quarter (84-63).
