Alec Peters led the way as Efes got a road win over Buyukcekmece to stay alone at the top of the Turkish League

Anadolu Efes dominated the third quarter on their way to a 92-67 road win against Buyukcekmece in the Turkish League.

Alec Peters led the way with 22 points on 10-14 shooting while Yigitcan Saybir and James Anderson added ten each.

For Byukcekmece, Robert Upshaw scored 13 in addition to Mukremin Kilicli’s 12 and Kaan Sariaslan’s 11 points. Sariaslan also dished nine assists.

Efes was ahead 26-19 after ten minutes and 43-35 at halftime. They ‘took off’ after the break winning the third quarter 25-7 and that 68-42 lead in front of the final period was more than enough to decide the victor.

With this win, Efes stayed alone at the top improving to 17-2 while Buyukcekmece still resides inside the relegation zone with a 3-16 record.
